Dr. Norouzi has extensive experience in treating both adult and pediatric patients. Following graduation from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College, she advanced her oral surgery skills during her residency at Howard University Hospital, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. She then completed an intensive course of IV Sedation from St. Joseph University Hospital, New Jersey. Further, she received her advanced two-year implant training from University of Maryland, which is the most cutting-edge and comprehensive implant program in the country. She also accumulated years of experience in endodontics (root canals) and pediatric dentistry while working with large group practices. Dr. Norouzi’s comprehensive education and experience in multiple areas of dentistry uniquely prepares her to fully address the whole family’s dental needs from routine checkups to dental emergencies and more advanced procedures.
Dr. Norouzi received multiple Academic Excellence Awards during her education and continuously stayed on Honors and Dean’s List. At Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College, she maintained an outstanding academic status and was chosen by the school’s Dean to serve as a member of the Curriculum Committee for four consecutive years to develop and improve the curriculum of Touro College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Norouzi believes that patients should be well educated about their conditions and all the available treatment options to better decide and participate in their treatments. Dr. Norouzi’s patients love her calm, gentle, and thorough treatment that they receive.
She enjoys spending her free time with her two teenage sons, skiing, mountain biking, and traveling.
